Queens in Training

Queens In Training (Q.I.T) is an initiative, under the Q.U.E.E.N.S. Inc. organization, geared toward young women. This program is a life skill, self esteem building, and leadership program for girls in grades 6th - 12th. QIT is a non-profit organization that gives young ladies an opportunity to develop self-worth, form a sisterhood, and experience personal development. Our goal is to provide programs that enrich, balance, and empower the lives of our participants. Program components include: 

• Free community resources
• Weekly after-school mentor sessions 
• Field trips 
• Cultural reconnections 
• Life skills 
• Critical thinking/conflict resolution
• Physical/Nutritional Health
